Q. Is ComponentGen a software application/program which can be purchased?
A. ComponentGen is a tool that we developed at Outsourced Information Systems. We use ComponentGen to help us create software for our clients. It automates repetitive parts of the software development process, saving our clients time and money. While the program isn't for sale, per se, we are considering licensing agreements which make it available to software developers. Please contact us to discuss licensing.
Q. What operating systems do you work with?
A. We have experience in Windows and Unix and can create applications which are platform independent.
Q. Does Outsourced Information Systems create software for clients to use internally only or can we resell the software?
A. Our typical clients ask us to create software for their internal purposes. Occasionally, though, we do build software which our clients intend to resell. The process is essentially the same, though the requirements may be different. When you contact us to ask about your project, just be sure to let us know if the usage will be internal or for resale.
Q. Does Outsourced Information Systems provide programmers that we can contract work to?
A. While we're not a "placement agency", we do provide programmers on a contract or project basis, depending on your needs. Tell us more about your needs and we'll let you know if we're a good fit.
